Grades of Hair loss


Type - I

Does not require HT, can be managed with Cyclical Medical Therapy(CMT)

Type - II

Does not require HT, can be managed with CMT. If patient desires hair line can be changed and removed.


Type - III
Type - III Vertex

Can be Managed With CMT Border line cases for HT. if excessive Thining of Hairs present CMT. if receding frontal hairline doesn't respond to CMT will require HT.


Type - IV
Type - IV Vertex

Requires CMT and Hair Transplant. Approximately 1200-1800 grafts.


Type - V

CMT and HT(1000-1,500 grafts)

Type - V Vertex

CMT and HT(2000-3,500 grafts in 2 Sittings)


Type - VI

CMT and HT(1800-4,000 grafts in 2 Sittings)

Type - VII

CMT and HT(2000-5,000 grafts in 2-3 Sittings)
